Ippity Easter...Hop Hop Hop

Hop Hop.. It is nearly Easter.. and time to remember some of the events that happened last year.. I do this alot throughout the year.. Yes, I take photo's of the events but then once it is over I leave them for the next year to take another look and make some layouts. Just to get in the mood.. I know it is strange but I get all excited and have lots of holiday mojo.. I think it is harder to go through the season and have no photo's to scrap.. so this is just what I love to do.. it works for me and puts me in the festive mood.

Here is one of the layouts I did using some Ippity stamps, Sweet Thoughts Of Spring. Some quilling , grass cutting and some paint.

EASTER hunt

This is my new adventure in Quilling.. I just did circles for this .. but I am hoping I will get more advanced as time goes by.. It is nice to have some different textures and for this layout it was perfect for the egg.

I just love this bunny.. since the first time it was featured on the Ippity blog months ago.. I coloured it in using my Prisma colours.

For the clouds.. I wanted to use some paint and with a dab here and there with a small paint brush I did these clouds.. I just love the look of painted clouds with the Ippity cloud stamp.

Hope this gets you in the Easter mood. Now Hop over to the Ippity Blog where you will find some wonderful girls and their creations.. Look for the new challenge!! Have some Fun!!

Wishing you all a very Happy Easter Celebrations.
Hugs,
Angie

The first one is a card using the Unity March/April Scrapbooking Favourite Things.. kit.. that is still available on the Unity Stamp Company Store site.

{I love U}

You just have to love how Angela matched up this stamp with the crate paper, paper that came in the kit!! Love that!!

The second project is for the Sketchy Saturday's that is hosted on Wescrap. Michelle did a fantastic job on this sketch

.. I just had to play.. and if you look in the right hand corner those are Unity stamps... can't remember what set it is from.. but I just love it!!

Sydney's World

Now my last is a bookmark.. One of my favourite stamps from Unity.. I just love these girls , I did this bookmark as one of my design projects Simply Scrapping Crafts.

I have a request for more images like this.. I just think they are brilliant Heather.. hint hint!!

Using some embossing I actually did the outline of the image and the tree!! just love the looks of that tree embossed. I then using the direction from Lisa our Copic Class leader ( this weeks lesson was how to colour hair with your copics) I coloured my image. I love how it turned out and I have a love for bookmarks and this was so perfect for all my nieces that are reading New Moon!! the inspiration behind the stamps.

Now head on over to see all the wonderful creations from all the customer participants at the Unity Stamp Blog.

Happy Spring !! Ippity Style

Happy Monday... Happy Spring.. so they say!! I am just glad we are not in the middle of any snow storm even though my hubby would just love that!
I am so in the mood for Easter, can't wait to gather at my sisters house and celebrate with the kids and my family. Always lots of fun!! It is also closer to Scrapfest!!! Oh, I dream of shopping and a scrappy weekend away.. No kids, what I am going to do...Oh yes... SHOP!!! lol. Like a kid in a candy store just better!!

I was visiting the Simply Scrapping Crafts Group.. Altered Gift Home Group and one of the wonderful part time designers (Jennifer) made a weaved basket, hers was just stunning.. you will have to check it out. Well I just couldn't sleep Saturday night and at 4 am you would have found me down in my craft room making these.. really easy and lots of fun. Just one sheet of coloured cardstock cut into 3/4 inch strips.. 11 strips in total. and I used 7 to weave the main frame and 3 to weave the sides.. double sided tape to hold it all together , curled the tops and added the handles.

To decorate I use the Sweet Thoughts Of Spring Ippity Stamp set.. P E R F E C T !!!!

Coloured in all the images, paper pieced them and added them to my little treat baskets!! How cute is this!! I just loved it!!

Here is the Pink one...

I also wanted to do one in the theme of last weeks challenge and did this cute Green one..

I must say I just love these Ippity stamps and all the different things you can use them for other than cards.. If you want to purchase any of these amazing kits just go check out a Ippity Chick on the Ippity Blog.

The Scrappiest.,, Unity FwF

Happy Friday!! WOW, this week just flew by. We must have had some great March Break weather this week, most days above 10 and one that was the taste of Summer, I just hope it stays this way and we don't get any snow .. wishful thinking but a girl has to wish!!

I decided to try another sketch for The Scrappiest Sketch Blog this week. Using the line of papers from the Winter Ippity Paper Kit.. all wonderful MME papers that I got in the mail yesterday. I used some stamps from the past Scrapbooking/Collage Unity Kits.. I am waiting for the March/April Kit to arrive any day now.. can't wait to ink that one up.

Here is The Scrappiest Sketch #56

Here is my layout using this awesome SKETCH!!

We are..Family.. Priceless

I used 3 different stamps to make this tag.. just layered them and I love how it turned out.

Here is a closer look.

Using ink to distress the paper in shades of brown and black.. I also inked these glitter letters slightly in the brown to take the brightness away from these very green Pink Paislee letters.

I just love these papers from the Ippity kit.. and you can get some by just contacting one of the Ippity Chicks on the Ippity Blog.

You will also have to go to the Unity Blog.. where Angela has a list of participants with their latest creations. She also has a special of the day going on so you might want to check that out as well.

Just love my Unity hopping Fridays, getting alot of inspiration from The Scrappiest Sketches.

Unity Stamp Company also has a Fans Club on Facebook so make sure you check it out. Lots of exciting info.... Gotta love it!!

Hope you all have an awesome weekend,

Hugs,

Angie

Here is what I came up with.. I made the circle flowers taking my inspiration from the colours of those boots.. Used my Cb bubbles folder for the faux leather look.. and with my Cricut Machine and the paper dolls Cartridge I cut out this cute little 2" cowgirl.. She was so much fun to make..

Howdy!

Make sure you check out the blog to see what the other Designers came up with!!

Ippity.. Hippity Hop

Monday.. Monday!! The first official day of our March Break.. We really don't have any set plans other than on Wednesday we are going to see Pinkalicious..

a Musical that is going on at one of the Theaters in Newmarket. Sydney is excited to see what it is all about.. she is going with her girl cousins so it is bound to be a great time. She has her Pinkalicious Crown all ready with her Pink outfit!! Lots of photo's that day!!

Today we are off to see the Tooth Fairy.. sounds like a great family movie.

It is also the H{ippity} Hop today. I am writing this post at 1:43 am because I am not tired.. and this way I can also sleep in tomorrow.. haha!! The challenge for last Monday was Dry Embossing, I just love using all my CuttleBug Folders and really have not used them is such a long time.. so this was a good challenge to get them out and use some of the folders that I haven't even touched.. like the music one below... Great Challenge, I really liked this one alot.

My first card I used the stars CB folder, embossed it and with my sanding block sanded it to give it a distressed feel.. I used the core Colour paper this way the distressing would show up more.
I just love this stamp set...Moonbeams and Heartstrings

For this card I did the same thing with the CB folder.. this is my first time using this one.. it was just perfect for this bird from the Music of My Heart Set, I really like how it turned out.. I gave the bird some bling and with some grass fringe and one of the American Crafts frames.. I really like the look of it.. using scraps of paper and alot of white space to show off the embossing.

I am going to love seeing all the creations that everyone has come up with for this challenge.. So if you go to the Ippity Blog and check out all the participants in today's Hop. There will also be a new challenge up for the week!! I just LOVE Ippity!! Hop Hop Hop!!

You can also purchase these stamp sets from the many wonderful Ippity Chicks HERE!!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day.

Scrap Space.. 2010

This is what it took to change my whole Scrap Space upside down and add another counter.. this small machine the Slice!! Funny how that happens. I was finding that the last few weeks my space was getting too small and I felt boxed it, my husband might think differently.

Last Sunday I woke up and he was taking the board from the other side of the fridge down.. this is how I got my first counter. Well I couldn't just let it stand there in the laundry room doing nothing, So yesterday at 2pm I decided to make myself another counter.. haha.. this is what happens when you leave scrap materials down in the basement!! I go all MacGyver!!

This was the first board that I used about a year ago.. and I love having my counter this high, I work better standing up.

Now this is the new counter.. same board ( which is great) I had to find some storage that was the height to support it and haha... I actually had something.. things always seen to happen this way for me.

I have set it up that I have all my die cutter machines and my cutter on one counter, this way I am not pulling things out and putting them away every time. This was one of the main reasons I changed my room around.

I now have all my embellishments right under the counter, easy to get to. I am loving this.

My Stamps and Cricut Cartridges are all beside the counter in that unit.. easy to get to!

On the first counter I have all my stamping inks and markers ready to use and it is not so cluttered anymore.

The computer desk is now in a place where I can actually see what my daughter is up to in her playroom and my back it not turned anymore. She seems to love the new layout of the room now too.

I can't believe it took a good day to organize and I kept it in my room.. Hubby is glad about that.. and it is so much easier to move around and now when my friend Tina comes over we both have our own counter to work at. So Tina , we need to make a date soon !! March Break is next week so Us girls are going to be having some fun time!!
Now to finish off some projects for next week!! I am sure by the end of the weekend it will be all messy!!
Happy Cleaning,
Hugs,
Angie
