Hello and welcome to H{ippity} HOP Mondays

Wow week 3 is already among us.. time is just flying by..

Today we have two wonderful things to share with you all

I made this card for Eva.. lots of layers. lots of black.. simple design. I hope she likes it!

today the challenge is called the Outside, Inside Challenge. so you will have to do the front of your card and then take it one step further and do the inside..

I just love the finished look it has and will be doing this alot with my cards. Also a great way to get rid of scraps!

So let's all wish this beautiful, generously loving person a Happy Birthday today.. Eva ,I hope all your wishes come true today.. I love you so very much!!.. .. haha.. now it is her turn..

H{ippity} HOP and Scrapfest!!

Good Morning.. H{ippity} Hop Monday!!

I have a different card using some of the Scrapbooking stamps from the Here and Now Ippity

set. Using this weeks Color Combo.. Fantastic colours!

I also wanted to do the challenge over on the All Things Unity blog. to use buttons!!

Well, button in my case. I place the brad over the button.. loved how it looks on the teal family heart. Here is also this weeks Color combo challenge.

A wonderful surprise.. meeting Virginia Lu from Etsy Inspired.. oh it was fun chatting and getting some copic advice. she is soooo wonderful.

Now my time at Scrapfest just wouldn't be the same without these ladies!! Kimber and Catherine.. LOVE them.. they make me sooooooooo HAPPY!!

Here is my Entourage!! My Posse... my family! Well, most of them.. I was so happy that all my sisters came out except my sister in Nova Scotia. .. but I am sure if she had the chance she would have been there too. So blessed to have my hubby and son also join us girls for a great weekend.

So that was my weekend.. today I am going to love chatting on skype

H{ippity} Hop April Challenge

Good Morning H{ippity} HOP!!

April showers , that is what we have today, but I guess that is better than SNOW!!

We start today with the first challenge Lisa Arana made this fabulous sketch.

Here is what I came up with.

I took the sketch and split it in half.. I know crazy !! But some days you just have to change it up,

think outside the box.. and that was me and my way of making it the same sketch card, but making it different.. .

See it all looks the same but I got two awesome cards out of it.

Using some papers from October Afternoon (cherry hill and ducks in a row). For the card base I used the spellbinders ( small deckled Mega Rectangles). The fabulous flower ribbon is from Martha Pineda Etsy shop.. she has the best trims at amazing prices!! The stamps used are from the Ippity sets Cherish your Dreams and How you Doin'.

H{ippity} Hop March Challenge the "TWIST"

Good Morning everyone.. hope your weekend was full of fun. It was such a busy week here and the weekend was even more. The kids were off for spring break and we had visitors everyday.. so it was a nice busy time. So last night I finally got to do some projects.. I wanted to do a page in my ART journal. I just love the process of splashing paint on a surface and getting creative.

For Week two of the H{ippity} Hop Challenge we were introduced to some fantastic colour combinations and I want to add those colours in my journal.. so Spring like.

Using some of the stamps from the Fall 2010 Ippity Release I made this page.. I used the heart flower stamp from the How You Doin'? set, The Post and the flowers from the Cherish Your Dreams set, The family stamp from the Here and Now set. I have all the colours melded together with a pop of the pink.

For this weeks H{ippity} HOP challenge (IHHTC3) comes the fun part..

it is the TWIST and we are to use some

hand stitching on our project..

Using a very thick needle and some wonderful Twinery Bakers Twine I stitched on this Spellbinders die cut piece.

inking and stamping the family stamp around on the petals. finishing it off with a MM pink brad.

H{ippity} Hop March Challenge week 3

Hello and welcome week 3 of March's H{ippity} Hop challenge

I am in love with the photo inspiration.. I want to make that pillow, as soon as I can make it to the fabric store.. isn't it just amazing.

This Saturday past my boys were out all day moving furniture.. me and the little one were home having a cuddly girl day. Our plans included making some home made cupcakes.. These were good.. I think I need to make them a little fluffier but still they were yummy.

So yesterday I wanted to make a cute layout with some of the photo's I took of her eating them.

Cuppy Cakes

Using the perfect Cuppy Cake stamps from Ippity.

I used the shape of the flowers from the photo inspiration, the colour inspiration which were also perfect from this Cosmo Cricket (togetherness) papers and diecuts. Love when you have the perfect papers for challenges.

I also used the scalloped stamp from the Sing a New Song
ippity stamp set.

I just love how you can use these stamps to create beautiful cards and layouts.

H{ippity} Hop

I'm BACK!!!!

Well what can I say today..

It is March 7th.. and guess what.. I am here H{ippity} Hopping with the Ippity Design Team.. well let me tell you how excited I am to be doing this full time now!!

If you have not been on the Unity Blog I am being featured by the lovely Eva.. I have a different project I am working on for the She Art Workshop eclass I am taking.. hosted by Christy Tomblinson.. love it!! Not only am I on the Ippity team but I will also be designing some stamps for Unity as well. I have that beautiful Artista blinkie in my sidebar.. it makes me happy.. happy.. I am beyond excited .. but enough about me..

Today we have a special hop.. Our beautiful Eryn will be leaving and we all wanted to wish her the very best in her new adventure with her company Vintage Glam.. she will be opening her little boutique in the near future and she is so excited about the adventure that is waiting for her, and we are so proud of her for following her dreams.. she is such a wonderful person.. this card I made sums how I feel about her.. forever!!

Here's to you Eryn.. you are such a wonderful person and I will love and cherish our friendship always.. one day I am going to meet you ,so I can give you a big hug !!

I just love this sentiment.. and it took me 3 tries to finally get the mojo and feel for this card. I wanted it to be perfect.. I guess the mojo was working very slow yesterday and I took a break and made this.. I love how it all turned out. I used this weeks IHHTC3 colour challenge. yellow, green, pink and blue. Eva picked some awesome colours to work with this month.

Soft spring colours and these October Afternoon papers from ducks in a row are perfect.. every colour was in that striped paper.. love when that happens.

Let's get this party on it's way.. next is the

wonderful and uber talented beautiful friend Eva.

H{ippity} Hop.. February week 4 challenge.

Welcome Monday.. Happy Family Day!!

It is also H{ippity} HOP time

WOW!! February surely went by fast.. it is the last week of the February Month long challenge

IHHTC2 and it is using the twist..

I had spring on the brain so I wanted to use some yellow's for my card today.

Here is the Challenge photo.. the twist for the last week this month is to use RIBBON!!

The flower I used my Slice machine and cut out the flowers.. using the Ippity Stamp Thoughts from the Past stamp on the flower cut outs. I held them together with an eyelet. and threaded my ribbon through the flower, made a bow and I just love how it all turned out.

The ribbon is some seam binding I dyed in some yellow homemade misting spray.. I love doing this thanks to Eva for inspiring me with all the wonderful ribbon's she makes..

Speaking of Eva she I am sure has a wonderful project to share with you today.

WOW.. already into the second week of February.. the days seem to be flying by.

I got my Paper Crafts Magazine in the mail on Thursday , and some some great cards.

some of the cards inspired me to create my card today. I love how it all turned out.

Clean and Simple with a dash of colour.

H{ippity} Hop.. February week 1 challenge.

WOW.. I can't believe January is nearly over.. February starts tomorrow.. the year is already way to fast for me.. I only have a couple more weeks of being on the Ippity Dt... boy you get used to something so fast when you have been doing it for nearly 6 months. I am still having such a great time playing along with these Fabulous ladies.. I am going to miss this!!

Today I am hosting the new challenge on the Ippity Blog.. so make sure you go and check it all out. If you have been playing since the beginning of January you will know that we are doing the first week with a sketch. I made this sketch keeping it clean and simple. hope you all like it.

Here is the card I made. Using some of these great Cosmo Cricket papers Circa 1934 and some Ippity stamps from the set How you doin' and the little Ippity logo butterfly. Make sure you check out the Ippity Blog on Thursday for the How to Thursday I am going to show you how to make these fabulous Ippity Brads.
