Hip Hopping Thursdays... Scene Tag Cards!!

Happy Hip Hop.. welcome Thursdays. ..

I love Thursdays for many reasons.. one.. it is the day before Friday.. and we all love Fridays!! Two.. It is also Hip Hop with Unity and Ippity.. and lastly.. we get to chat it up in the Unity Forum... What could be better!!
I have been playing around with these Avery Shipping Tags that I bought last year and still have tons of them. I decided to make them fit a card. and the card measures 2 .3/4 x 5.5 it just fits these Manila tags perfectly. So I made these two Fall cards using some of the Ippity stamp sets.
This first one is all Fall!!
Using the Ippity stamp sets, Fall For You ( the fall ), Sweet Thoughts of Spring ( the happy), What Matters Most ( houses ). I needed mini clouds so I made those myself.

Happy, Happy, Fall

The second card I just love.. it is very haunted looking colouring it in with my grey copics. I used the Ippity sets from.. Simply Home ( House) , What Matters Most ( the pumpkin flowers), That's Creepy (happy Halloween saying), and Fishy Philosophy ( the background, my version of a corn field) I must say it was fun layering different sets to make a scene card. It is also very flat, so you won't be paying lots to mail it out.

Happy Halloween to You.

So if you have any tags like this and you want to use them , take them out and give this a try.. I might do some sample cards with them for Christmas.. I really like the look of them. Now it is time to HIP HOP over to the Uber Talented EVA's Blog.. I am sure she has a wonderful project to share with you.

But before you do... check this out.. Saturday October 2nd is World Card Making Day and Unity and Ippity will be celebrating.. so make sure you check us out . In the Unity Forum and on Facebook.

Now check out my sweet friend EVA.....

Have a great day.. see you later for a chit chat and give away.. in the Unity HIP HOP thread over at SplitCoastStampers...HERE
Hugs,
Angie

I Am A Brave Girl!! FWF

HAPPY FRIDAY..
FRIENDS WITH FLAIR!!
I made this card combining some challenges,
you can find one of the challenges HERE. in the Unity SCS forum.

I am a believer of doing anything for a cause.. and cancer is one cause that I do participate in helping. I have family that have suffered through this disease, not all breast cancer but many other cancers. I have a brother that fights the fight everyday. He is on a round of treatments as I write this for the next 3 months. I want them to find a cure like so many others. For all Women and Men. Every year for the past couple of years ,I with some friends walk for a cure.. this year I managed to walk a total of nine hours out of 12 and my son a total of 10 hours. It is a wonderful thing to get your kids involved with helping a cause. Cancer is just one of them.

I am a brave girl

First challenge was using this sketch HHSC26. {just check below}
Guess what ?
I actually made this sketch. I just love it. I can't wait to see how everyone uses it.
The Second Challenge was for the All things Unity.
It is called Think Pink Baby!!
you can get all the details by just clicking HERE.

Now it is time to check out all the participants for today FWF... and the next on the list is Elizabeth.. I am sure she has something wonderful to share.

Hope you all have a great weekend. It is Applefest this weekend, I would love to go if the rain holds off.. if not I will be relaxing with the FAMILY!!

Angie

Flip Flop Hip Hop!! Yippee

Flip Flop Hip Hop..

Flip Flop Hip Hop

Today is the day we switch it up!!
I am so very thrilled to be apart of this moment for Unity / Ippity ..
it is going to be a good time today.
The UNITY design team gets to work with IPPITY stamps and the IPPITY design team gets to work with UNITY stamps! FLIP FLOP..HIP HOP
Love It!!
Lots of creations to show you.. so lets get this party started.
Today I have used 2 sets from Samantha Walker..
Fall Family Memories and
Fall Splendor

I decided to do a little home decor and made this decorative Fall Frame, using 5to 6 stamps from the Unity Samantha Walker Fall Splendor.

Check out the layering of the leaf in the center of the paper. it was pop dotted 2 times to give it a 3-D look. The frame I got from Michaels Craft Stores for only $1.50. Wouldn't this be a wonderful hostess gift for Thanksgiving. I am making another one for my sister when we have our family dinner at her house this year.

Grattitude

this card is also for the Unity Addicts Challenge UAC19

I also did this Fall card, embossing the leaf border stamp and embossing it in clear embossing powder for my background, I also paper pieced these pumpkins for the center of the card. Adding the sentiment.

These are all stamps from
the Unity Samantha Walker Fall Family Memories.
Now for something totally FUN!!
Another Home Decor Item. I had these chipboard pumpkins I got in a KOM from Mosh Posh last Fall, and never did anything with them.. so last week I decided to give this Fall Banner a try.
I think it is just STINKIN' CUTE!!

Using the Samantha Walker leaf stamps from the Fall Splendor set.

Some awesome Ippity Echo Park Papers.. love these papers!!

Clear embossing the leaves on coloured cardstock. The letters are Jillibean Soup Letters.

Adding my homemade spiral flowers and lots of Splendid BLING!!
I must say these are two wonderful sets of stamps for all your Fall cards and Fall Decor Items.. I am making a couple of other project for the weeks to come.

Here are the Two Sets
( these are only sold in stores.)

Well, was that FUN.. and I am sure once you check out EVA's Creations you will be Dreaming Unity all day long.. or is it just me...hehe

Hope you all have a wonderful day.. make sure you join us in the SCS Unity Forum for some much loved HIP HOP... but with a FLIP FLOP!!!!

Something you didn't know about me.. or maybe you did?.

Did you know I love to paint, well I do. I started this craft years ago only painting on furniture and stools.. very country crafts.. Then I would do little Christmas crafts to sell to my family, neighbours and friends if they requested something..
It was a fun thing to do and I still do some of it.

When I moved to this present house I was house bound most of the time , only because there was no mall across the street, and no where to walk to other than the park and schools. oh yes not even a variety store.. to grab a magazine. So I became even more crafty to keep myself from not going crazy.
The first year I had an idea of making these scarecrows.. My dear hubby bought me the wooden boards and I started to draw and paint them out.. he did all the cutting . I did the fronts and backs of these and proudly displayed them on my front porch each fall season before Thanksgiving.. They are out there right now is you take a look. This is Sydney posing with them this afternoon!!

I also started dabbling in painting on canvas. I just needed a photo of whatever landscape scene and I could paint it.. I did some of these up for Christmas gifts one year for all the parents and they were shocked at how well they all turned out. seeing that I had no training what so ever and did it all by just plopping paint on canvas. These are some of my paintings. I have a ton more just waiting to be hung.
I also painted that red wooden bench.

Now for my painting on metal or wooden plates. These images I got off of the web.. can't remember which site.. but they are not mine.. but I did paint them free hand, no sketching just making it work. I just love Christmas.. so I do alot of these around my house.

Well, here we are and most of you know that I love to scrapbook and make cards.. but Thursday I decided to make up some of my own images.. only your basic pumpkins.. but I do seem to love them. So, here are the cards I made with my hand drawn images.. tell me what do you think???

I just thought it would be fun to share some other things about ME with you. Something different ,but I just love every aspect of being creative and making things from my heart.
I hope I didn't babble on too much.
Have a wonderful Friday.. if you are looking for the FWF post it is just below this.
Hugs,
Angie

Hip Hop!!

Hip Hop.. Thursday!!

Saying a goodbye to a special Unity/ Ippity Our lovely Lady...Michelle .
I wish her all the best in her future adventures. This one is for you Michelle.!!

Where there is LOVE there is LIFE

I made this accordian card. very simple by just scoring a piece of 5.5 x11 cardstock at the 2.5 inch line and 5 inch line. then just cut your patterned pieces to fit inside.
I love how it all just came together.
Using the Thoughts from the Past and Dot's for Sure background stamps I inked the Unity waterlily coloured ink and then diecutted them using my cuttlebug butterflies diecut. I also used some stamps from Life is the Journey and Quotes A La Happy. I placed a M in the middle of one of the butterflies.October Afternoon papers and letter sticker.

I love how it all looks, and I hope Michelle likes it too.

Michelle ,I wish you the very best, you will be saddly missed, but I am also happy that you found something that will benefit you and your family. Best of Luck in everything you do.

Sketching it up with the Greeting Farm.

Hello, it's a wonderful Fall day Wednesday..
I have just a little scrapbook page to share with you for the September Scrapbook Challenge over at The Greeting Farm..

When I saw this sketch by Jacilynn over on Jess's Blog.. I couldn't help myself and had to make a layout that day.. it is only taken me a week to post it. I just love my Greeting Farm Scrapbooking stamping kits.. and I used the beautiful polka dot butterfly stamp for this sketch layout. I also used the stamp on the smaller butterflies that I punched out with my MS butterfly punch.

My Girl

some of the details.. I am just in love with these pipecleaner flowers and one day this summer I made a ton of them with Sydney.. she loved them so much she made some of these cute little flower barrettes ( she is wearing one in the photo),wearing them all day long and making lots more in different colours. .. My Girl got her craft on!!
