December Daily 12/5/12

Hello Thursday... I am so happy to be actually keeping up with my December Daily.

I am keeping it clean and simple this year.. just bits of paper and washi tape..

some great diecuts from my class 25 days of Scrapbooking with Studio Calico.

 

Yesterday these are my pages.. the journaling is hidden on the tag behind the photo

this I love to do, because the photo is the feature of the page.

Just using some MME washi tape to add some red to the page.

the milk & cookies stamp is one of mine from the November SMAK kit by Unity Stamp Company.

I wanted this kit to feature a lot of saying for my December Daily pages.. I was just

so thrilled that Angela the owner was on board and let us do this kind of kit

celebrating the happenings day to day in December!!

This is another photo of me.. heading to school.. and it was FREEZING COLD.. the coldest day

to date for the season.. well at least I thought so.

December Daily -12/4/12

 

 

Hello everyone.. so how is it going with your December Daily , that is if you are doing it.

I am finding this year we are having a lot of fun.. even though our day's are not

filled with activity and we live a very normal life..

 

The addition of this fellow ( Edward) has sparked the holidays with glee..

My daughter has the best time in the morning and after school looking for him.

Seeing all the mischief he is getting himself into.. it is funny..

 

My 17 year old is also participating.. he is finding different ways to cause the Mischief..

It is so nice to see him enjoying the season with Edward.

 

Here he is zip lining across the dining room.. 

 

I am using lots of goodies from the 25 days class hosted by Maggie Holmes on the Studio Calico website. love all these digital files we received.

The background of my paper I stamped using the November KOM by Unity Stamp Company.

 

It was also the day to share the progress of our Advent.. this year there was no toy advent.. that I will do the last 12 days of Christmas.. All the kids wanted were the Chocolate Advents so that is what I got them. No stress advent I like that!!

 

I love the Christmas Joy stamp for the November SMAK kit from Unity.. I made that stamp

with a lot of the others from that kit.. and was thrilled to use it in my December Daily!!

 

loving these letters by American Crafts.. I think I need more.. this I got at CKU.. I need to find them to get some more for my album.

 

 

So there is Day 4.. I wonder what today will hold for us.

December Daily-- 12/3/12

 

Hello, yesterday I wanted to focus on Edward,

Edward is new to our home.. better known as an

Elf on the Shelf..

My daughter was so very thrilled that Santa

has allowed her to have Edward come and  oversee

the drama that takes place everyday in our home. haha

 

Well from Day one Edward has been a sneaky.. but lots of fun.

today we found him getting a little fresh with one of Sydney's new

Monster High dolls.. or was he just telling her secrets.. who knows..??

 

Here are some photo's of Edward, as we have seen him the past couple of days . I will have some pages in this album dedicated to just how Edward is behaving.. it should be a lot of fun.. and great

holiday memories to look back on.

 

I decided to pick a certain font for my album.. other than my own hand writing..

 it is called

Brush Script STD.

I really like it.

 

Here is the two page spread.. loving this style of my December Daily.. totally different for me.. but so much fun to use up some of those scraps .

December Daily 12/2/12

Good Morning, and welcome to my December 2nd

.

I am doing the Ali Edwards December Daily and also the..

 25 days with Studio Calico and Maggie Holmes

 

As I decided to change my papers at midnight last night..

I was going to have all different patterned papers and then thought it was

not the style of album I wanted, so I got out of bed and changed it.. haha

I am so loving that I did.. I really love the white background with the colours of details

much better.. it all seems to stand out now.. Thank goodness for an abundance of white

 

American Crafts cardstock. haha.

So here is December 2, 2012

we put our tree up !!

 

I am cutting my album pages different sizes.. some will be 6.5x11 some 7.5x11 and some 8.5x11

so I will have lots of scrap pieces.. So I decided to layer some of  the pieces,, not wanting to

waste any of this cardstock.. adding different border punches gives the white background the feel

I want to achieve with my album. You will see what I mean in this next page.

I am always so excited for this time of year.. 

The project I look most forward to is my December Daily .

I am going to keep these short and sweet.

she turned 7 on this day!

 

 

I had this layout all done up in coloured cardstock and decided I wanted the white background

you live and learn.. glad that it was only the second day in that I changed my mind.

But I love how it turned out.  So white will be my theme.
