Happy Friends with Flair Friday!!
Check me out.. on the
Etsy Inspired Blog today!!
I am Guest Designing for November
I know some of you know I have been making Cards galore these past few weeks.. I am selling Christmas card bundles to friends, family and some of my Mom's friends.. I was only thinking this will be great ,,,I will get a FEW orders.. but I will make the bundles cheap enough that everyone can afford to buy a nice simple.. but beautiful card to give for the holidays. So here I was so happy with 6 orders in the first day I sent out my email... making bundles of 12 and 15.. for 10.00 a bundle.. wow ,it has been week 3 and I have already made 230 cards + and have to make 135 more.. hoping to do this all by next week.. I will probably make about 60 extra just in case.. My son was telling teachers at high school and they want to see samples.
I thought I would share some of my cards today.
Remember, these are just simple. no big details.. if so I would have to make it more expensive and didn't want to do that!!
Tell me what you think?
Just in case you are wondering what my process is.. I will share it.. to make fast cards in a hurry.
I cut all my cardstock and score it.. next I emboss all my cardstock.. I tell you I have muscles!!hehe... then I cut all the shapes on my Cricut.. I can get alot done but this takes time I spend a day just cutting shapes one in colour and one in white a smaller size to stamp my images. Now I pick my stamps.. I wanted easy to colour images.. so I ink up and stamp all the images about 80-100 at a time.. them while watching tv with the kids I colour with my copics.. Lastly I put my adhesive on all the backings and when the kids are in school I assemble.. yesterday I assembled 133 cards in a couple of hours.. This process takes me 2 days.. so It can be done just find what system works for you and keep it simple.
well enough of my babbling.. hehe
Time to get back to making cards.
