Ippity Hop.. Growing in Unity!! Day 1

Hello and welcome to my week of Growing in Unity..
Just a brief note on how it all works.. This week from Monday to Friday I will be featuring my projects using Unity Stamps and Ippity Stamps.. all you have to do is leave a comment everyday this week on all of my posts if you want.. all the commentors will then be gathered by number and I will select one to win a free stamp of your choice from Unity Stamp Company.. how wonderful and ultra generous is that!! SO I hope to see you visiting me all week long.. I promise not to disappoint!!

This week I am going to do some projects with little lessons on each one of them .. some will be paper, some will be fabric.. I hope all of them will be fun for you to also give a try!! Today is the card I did for Lisa's Challenge last week from the Ippity Blog.. using only one layer on your card. This is the card I did for the challenge. Using of course all Ippity.

Thanks

These are some of the little DETAILS of my card.

The first thing I did was from the 'A Moment in Time' stamp kit..is cut one flower off the stamp.. I know madness you are probably thinking but sometimes I just want one flower and not all of them to do a background.. but I can easily but it all together to use for a border..

then I lightly stamped the diecut shape from the ' Season of Joy' , and with the single flower stamp I stamped my image all around.

I then stamped the diecut image onto the same coloured cardstock. with 2 different inks I distressed the inside of the shape and with a copic marker I outlined a colour to match. Then stamping the image from 'A Little Buggy' and adding some bling this is what it all turned out like, the sentiment was from 'The Simple Things ' kit. I now cut around the diecut image and placed it on top of the flower image matching up where I first stamped it. I love how the flower stamp gave it alittle more.. I hope you try this for your next project.

Woohoo.. Day 1 done.. make sure you come back for Day 2.. I have something that will make you think differently about your stamps.. and how awesome you can use them to make some early holiday or friends gifts..
Seeing that it is also Ippity Monday Hop.. make sure you go to the Ippity Blog for the latest challenge and the list of Hoppers.. some very talented participants.. check it out!! Inspiration City!!
Happy Monday
Hugs,
Angie

I like the way you used the label and flower stamp to create and extra floral border around the label. It looks so cool.

Cool idea! Love the way your new shaped border turned out after the "surgery." I'm not brave enough to do that sometimes, but the results you have are stunning! Looking forward to tomorrow's project!
