Authentique Color Challenge for October

Hello, It is another month creeping up so fast on us already....

 The Colour Challenge for October is over on the

Authentique Paper Blog,

Did you join us last month.. I find these color challenges are so much fun.

This month I decided to create a mini album

Using this beautiful collection "Peaceful"

I just love these colours, and using some doily inspired elements

 for a shabby clean vintage look.

 

Take a look at the photo's of what I made below.

 and the colour pallet is outstanding.

 

 

 

Here are the inside pages of my mini Album .  

Using a variety of Die cuts from Spellbinders,a variety of different punches

 and my Cricut Cartridges, I layered them on top

of the variety of patterned papers from the Peaceful collection..

 adding sticker elements and words

from the same collection.. it all went so perfectly.

 

I will fill the pages with photo's this winter, I love that the album is ready and all I will need to do is add photo's to it. I hope you come on over and link up your projects using these colours.

I have a fun layout to share today.

Life is full of Beauty.

We had some friends over this past Monday.. and Becca and Sydney had some fun taking photo's of themselves making these cute faces.. They just love to play with our camera.

On the side of that beautiful basic grey paper I used one of the stamps from the January 2010 kit of the month "savor the journey" the sentiment and flowers are from the store May 2010 kit "Moments in Bloom".

I just love this sentiment because "life is full of beauty" it is all around us and I see most of this beauty in our children.. no matter what face they put on, it is a beautiful thing to see them silly, happy and enjoying life.

I also used my Cricut to cut out the die cut shape , some dew drops from the robin's nest and some tattered angels misting spray.

H{ippity} Hop.. February week 3 challenge.

Happy Valentine's Day

How wonderful for this weeks challenge to fall on this special day.

Hope you all are having a wonderful morning. If you celebrate or not it is a great day to reflect on all those things that make you happy.. all the things you love in life.

{Ippity} Release Day # 4...

WOW.. It's Release Day 4..

What a fantastic time I have had using these FAB-U-LOUS stamps.. and the amazing thing is I am also going to stay on for the next 3 month as a

Guest Designer for Ippity!!

I am so thrilled to be apart of this AWESOME team of women for another Release Season!! I have been on Cloud 9 from the beginning and this is just the next cloud of happiness!!

Today we are showcasing the last stamp set and a background stamp named after the wonderful Maria.. Gurnsey Gingham I just love the name Eryn and Angela gave this gingham stamp..

it is so Maria..

I decided to finally do a layout and this new set HERE and NOW is a scrappers dream.. full of wonderful words, and journal images.. I love it!!

Living and Loving ..Life

Using the Gurnsey Gingham stamp in Unity's Haystack I inked up some of the page.. just for a touch of texture.. the papers are by K&Company.. the newest Yuletide.. the diecut birds are Cricut's Wall Decor and More Cartridge. Using some yummy Tim Holtz film ribbon and some fun fiber and paper flowers.. it all came together with these Amazing Here and Now stamps. I know I will be using this set a lot!!

Now it is time to hop on over to the Lovely Eva.. I can't wait to see what everyone has done with this stamp kit!! I love Release time!!

Today i am using this cute set from Farm Fresh..

I just love the details in this set. Amazing images with wonderful detailed words... very country!! I am sure some of my Ippity/Unity friends will just love this FARM FRESH set!!

Country Girl

I made this Country Girl Card.. Using the Country Girl word image.. don't you love the details in the words.. AMAZING!! I also got my newest Cricut Cartridge out and cut this wonderful Country girl image.. I just love it!! The Cartridge is called Country Life.. it will be an awesome pair with this set of stamps.

I also made this fun frame as well using the Ippity Set Cherish Your Dreams.. Using alot of different textured elements to decorate it.. I will have a fun tutorial on Saturday.. so make sure you check out the Ippity Blog for more details on this project.

Creative Prompts 4U.. Let's Eat Cake!!

Happy Thursday, It is time for another challenge at Creative Prompts 4U.. and it is all about CAKE!! Oh I love cake.. but vanilla is my favourite!! Just check out the challenge Debbi has for you HERE.

This is the layout I did for this yummy challenge.

Cousins eating some YUMMY CAKE!!

Using one of the photo's in the photo Prompt I made this background template out of creamy white cardstock. Taking my Cuttlebug and some different folders I embossed some of the images in random spots.. I didn't want to cover the whole paper.

I am in love with these branches and flowers and couldn't believe how perfect it was for this layout and prompt.. I used my Home Cricut cartridge and cut out these branches in the 2.5 and 3.5 sizes.. and with some white fabric flowers and some really cool golden dewdrops I added them on for dimension.

I know another photo.. but I just love it that much..hehe. I used some Jenni Bowlin mini brown letters and some white Bella Blvd white and inked to distress it alittle.
