A Little Chic Fabulous .. Unity Blog Hop

Have I told you lately how much I LOVE Unity..

well just in case I haven't.. I am telling you now!!

CHIC Fabulous

this is a new kit being released today..

you get 2 large dress forms, one word, flower and leaf.. you can stamp them on a card..

use them on a layout, or do something even more

fabulous and stamp and apply them to canvas..

I inked these babies up on water colour paper.. then using my NeoColor crayons

I coloured them in with a fine tip paintbrush.. 

I then let dry and applied then on 6x6 thick canvases with gel medium.

( this is applying the gel medium on the canvas..

then the back of the water colour paper then on the front of the watered coloured art.)

 

here they are individually ...

I call this one LOVE.. my favourite word!!

 

Using modeling paste and the Christy Tomlinson's vintage lace mask I got a doily

effect for my background. then adding some random flowers from Petaloo and Pink Paislee

I used my Helmar 450 quick dry glue to adhere them on my canvas.. the LOVE background stamp

is Unity's Layers of Life { never ending story} kit. 

This one I called Fabulous...

Using the techniques as I did on the above canvas..

I love, love that you can do so many things with this kit..

They would make a great present for any girl.. or a fantastic decor item

for your home or office.

I heART Unity!! Just Sayin'

 

Every had one of those days when everything just goes perfect...

 Creative Bliss is what I call it..

Yesterday I had a day off work and wanted to make some cards for today's hop..

 well that changed into 4x4 canvas ART... more my passion ..

 I just LOVE these image I created for the May Kit of the MONTH..

 so beautiful for your canvases...

 

Here are the 2 Canvases I made..

 

Let the BEAUTY we LOVE be what we do... rumi

beautiful sentiment from this kit of the month.. paired with these Dalhia's  I designed.

the colour is so vibrant .. No it did not use water colours... I used my good copics to colour these..

I love how it just pops off the canvas.

 

It was stamped and coloured with copics and paper pieced and using gel medium  it was adhered onto the canvas.. that is why the image is so crisp. Using Textured Modeling Paste for defination..

and some Golden paint for the perfect blue background.

 

Then I could not stop at one.. so I made another.. same 4x4 size using the same copic technique

but the background is made with modeling paste and gelato's by Faber Castell... one of my favourite ways to add colour.. lots of drippage... I just love these dresses I created for the Kit of the Month..

I can't wait to hang this on my wall.

It has been a long time and we are celebrating by releasing 5 new girls.. 

 

 

 First , I want to introduce this little beauty..  It was just something I was doodling with and knew right away I wanted it to be a stamp..

 she is the "Faceless Beauty"..  and she has a gorgeous soul.. can you see it ?

 I just LOVE her..

She is fun to colour.. that is for sure..

I am sure you can have a ton of FUN using her in different designs..

Now meet Ellie.. she is a hot beverage drinking, book loving girl.. I am sure we can all relate..

I gave her a more upbeat funky looking style.. so you can have fun with her wispy hair...

This was a hard girl to get just right but together with the Unity Team we made her come to life..

 

 

Then we have the beautiful Whitney Girl...

 she embraces her inner flower child.. Urban Hippie kind of girl.. and we just love her..

We love also that Nic Magnuson loved her so much and his beauty is a Whitney girl..

Let's just say it was meant to be... she even has the same hair style.. 

I so love the sentiments that go with her also..

She has been in my creative dreams for a long time and it is wonderful to see her finally here.

 

 

Next up is SHARI girl.. I wanted a girl with her favourite dog.. I named her after my beautiful sister Shari.. that has two wonderful dogs that are her fur babies... We had a fun time trying to get her outfit just perfect and these very trendy overalls that are going to be this summers big hit are perfect.

haha... glad I kept all my overalls from ummmm... 15 years ago..

 funny how everything makes it way back to fashion.

 

Next up is KIMMIE girl.. yes.. some days you just need that jolt of coffee to get yourself

going in the morning.. gosh.. in the middle of the day you need one.. or five..

What a fun way to give a friend or two a fun greeting and maybe an invite for a coffee date.

Kimmie would be a great addition to your ANGIEgirl collection.

To The Queen Of... SPARKLE

Happy Thursday.. so glad you are here today visiting my blog...

I am getting a little jump start to making some Birthday cards.. and just love this cute

cupcake in the January 2014 KOM...  and the sentiment is just perfect!! Don't you think ??

On textured cardstock I lovingly inked this image with black Momento ink.. and stamped

several of the same cupcake image, but making sure the one I wanted to colour was in the middle.

Colouring with copics and adding some white dots for added bling.. I love how it just pops

off the card. this is also a Project Life card so it can be easily taken off

and put into one of the PL 3x4 pockets as well.

The sentiment I stamped on Satin finish photo paper , I wanted it to shine differently

that a matte finish of the cardstock.. I also coloured it with copics and paper pieced it.

How awesome is this....
