Project Life update!!

I know I totally slacked off on this area...
I think I even got myself confused ...

Not knowing what photos went with what week.
 But, I finally came around and at least one book is done,
The other one is a work in progress... I will get myself all updated though,

So for the next two days I will be showing you where I left off with my Project Life.

Enjoy the many photos, ha ha
Just so you know , this Album has changed as you will notice I am using
some of my older papers from My Minds Eye towards the end. I thought I should use up my
on going stash.. and because I cut my papers just alittle bigger than 4x6
it was perfect to just go ahead and do it this way.
In my second Album I totally used a different company for each week and really love how
it all turned out.. I find Project Life you might start with one thing in mind .. but
towards the end you change it up totally to suit your need to make the process easier
on yourself. I know this is me ...  always experimenting.

Now this completes one Album for this year, I already decorated the outside of the
second Album using some Simple Stories and you will see tomorrow.
Using my 6x6 paper pads to createmy little inserts.
 I promise to share, but I also know myself.. it might be once a month...
Life gets busy.. some day's too busy to keep up with every week.
But, I do have a system of documenting my photo's every week on my instagram

Camping and a Card.

Hello everyone, it has been a wild weekend here.

 We decided to go camping.. which was good.

But, the evening of Friday the tailgate of the van hit me in the head....

 well let's say we didn't expect

to spend the first night in the hospital for 4 hours.

5 stitches later it is all good. 

 Then the next evening... our gazebo broke, because of the high winds up to 80 miles an hour..

 well let's say by Saturday evening we were booked into the Marriott hotel...

 well we tried... Is Camping for us?? not quite sure.. we are not giving up.

The camp site we had was gorgeous.. beach front, beautiful surroundings.. 

oh and flush toilets and a working shower.. very very clean...

I want to go back.. but maybe in the Summer instead of the Fall.

was glad they did not have to shave my head.

 

We had alot of rain and wind.. but that did not stop the ducks from taking walks.

Marriott Hotel.. wow.. this was beautiful.

a good dinner at Swiss Chalet.. yummy..

 

the next day (Sunday) we headed to Fort Henry.. to learn some History..

it was quite fascinating.

 

the beauty of Kingston Fort Henry.

 

So that was our weekend.. we took alot of photo's and had alot of fun,

 even though I was injured we made the best of it..

 

So now for a Card... this is the newest Stamp of the Week.

Capture Life!!

Now seeing that this stamp came out just this week..

 I thought it would be appropriate to share

a photo of me..

 this was taken on July 25th, 2012..

 the day I turned 48..

 I just love to capture life with my family..

but, it is always good to have a photo of yourself to look back on..

 I am grateful for the gifts that I am blessed with

 and the people that allow me to express my talent..

 I think I am living my dream in my late 40's..

 it took a long time to figure it out..

 but, I am so happy to find a place where I belong.

Thanks to all my wonderful, creative, supportive friends and family..

who love my art.. and for cheering me on to make this happen,

I know I say this alot.. but if you don't tell the people who mean so much to you

what you are thinking at that moment , it gets lost and then they never know.

Turning 48 I will be telling you that I love your support.. don't ever think it goes unnoticed..

I appreciate all your appreciation for what I do.  no big head here.. just a big HEART.  

 I hope I can carry this dream on for a long time into my late 60's..

haha.. a goal !!  I am so blessed and count my lucky stars everyday.

Thanks... for everything Fall!!

Today I am Thankful for Fall.. the beautiful colours just outside my door..

Seeing that some people are experiencing SNOW today...

(which by the way just freaks me out... and I live in Canada.)

Today, or should I say just a couple of  hours ago.. Sydney and her school

did the Terry Fox RUN.. I went to the school earlier to pick her up with my camera in hand.

I wanted to capture her last run.

I was happy to see that she was not one of the first in her class sitting down waiting..

She was still on the RUN.. or should I say walk some ..run some.lol

 That is her in the coral outfit.  She was partnered up with her friend Isabelle

 A sweet photo of the girls at the end of their 4 laps.. good job girls!!

Here is her class waiting to get a cold drink and  freezes.. a well deserved treat !!

Oh , then I made her walk home.. bad mommy!!

But, she wanted me to take some photo's of her and the Fall trees.

 and her two loose bottom teeth as well.

I just love this time of year.. the leaf foliage is just so breathtakingly beautiful.

That was a fun day of capturing some of her School moments.

 I tend to walk with my camera alot to school.

I am sure some people must think I am crazy.. but I love it!!
