Here is the project I made in more detail.
I decided to make a Halloween door hanger.
This owl chipboard shape was perfect for my project.
These Authentique "Enchanted " papers made it easy.
Now for an easy way to add paper to chip board this is what I do.. first take some glue and spread
it everywhere..
Then just place it on the opposite side of the paper you want to use.. let dry, then either
cut it out by hand with small scissors, or use an x-acto knife , I then sand the edges and distress
it with some ink. Today I used some Vintage Photo by Ranger.
Doing this you can get a clean fit for your chipboard.. the distressing makes it all come together,
and gives it a look I like. I wanted the owl to be whimsical
So I made sure I dressed him up in the Halloween Theme.. first by using different patterned papers,
then adding the hat and moustache. I think he looks CUTE!!
The "B" I wanted to symbolize my last name initial so I hand cut one out and layered some patterned paper using glue dots.. then added the glitter glue to accent it all. I wanted our family name on there as well so with some of the great letters and words in the "Enchanted" collection I was able to
fit that in.
