I heART Unity!! Just Sayin'

 

Every had one of those days when everything just goes perfect...

 Creative Bliss is what I call it..

Yesterday I had a day off work and wanted to make some cards for today's hop..

 well that changed into 4x4 canvas ART... more my passion ..

 I just LOVE these image I created for the May Kit of the MONTH..

 so beautiful for your canvases...

 

Here are the 2 Canvases I made..

beautiful sentiment from this kit of the month.. paired with these Dalhia's  I designed.

the colour is so vibrant .. No it did not use water colours... I used my good copics to colour these..

I love how it just pops off the canvas.

 

It was stamped and coloured with copics and paper pieced and using gel medium  it was adhered onto the canvas.. that is why the image is so crisp. Using Textured Modeling Paste for defination..

and some Golden paint for the perfect blue background.

 

Then I could not stop at one.. so I made another.. same 4x4 size using the same copic technique

but the background is made with modeling paste and gelato's by Faber Castell... one of my favourite ways to add colour.. lots of drippage... I just love these dresses I created for the Kit of the Month..

I can't wait to hang this on my wall.

Sketch Art.. more like some Mixed Media FUN!!

Today was not so much about Sketch Art.. I had a fun day with my friend Tina.

We were together to do a Canvas project.. it was her first time doing one so it was

fun to do it together..

this is us cutting our papers out for our canvases

We were using some Helmar decoupage, Unity Stamps, K&Company papers.

here is mine a tiny 4x4 canvas. I really like this size!

Tina did a 8x11 size canvas.. loving that paper and that cute Unity cat!!

This is what we finished up with.. using some Faber Castell gelato's , big brush artist pitt pens for details..  I just love them both.. on mine I added some fun Christy Tomlinson background stamps from Unity.. Love them alot!!

This is us.. all happy with what we actually did today.. it was nice to get together and actually finish

a project.. we usually get to talking and cruise the internet..so today was very productive..

This year we hope to get together and do different projects.

It is always more fun when you have a partner that shares your passion. I am lucky to have her!!

So now Sketch Art.. but Art just the same.. I will be sharing lots of different type of Art. I don't want to just do one thing for this post..
