FWF.. Love this day!!

15 years ago.. I fell head over heels for this little boy.. he is my light and source of ultra happiness. A mother's wish.. he is so good to me and everyone around him. I treasure every moment together and would give him the world!! Alexander still full of sunshine..15 years later.. I love this boy..

Now look at him.. not so much a boy but a man is what I see before me. He is still that wonderful loving boy and always will be Mama's baby.. even when he is grown and married.. right!!

Just wanted to wish him a Happy Birthday today.. wow where did the time go... 15 , I waited a long time to have you sweet boy and I am so blessed to have you in my life. Daddy, Sydney and I love you so much.

Now before I babble on forever.. hehe

I just love Thursdays getting a chance to chat with all the hip hoppers.. it really makes my week. Then comes Friday.. and Friends with Flair.. such a wonderful thing to be apart of each week. I love it!! Today I have a card that I did for the Unity Addicts Challenge. I love the inspiration card for this challenge and had to make one. Thanks to Maria for always being such a wonderful host and for the talented guests for posting some inspiration. Here is my card..

All Journeys..

this is the inside of the card.

Now yesterday we were all talking about making things.. and I just had to try this seeing that I had all the supplies and didn't have to go and buy anything.. so here it is my tutorial on making..

Homemade Glimmer Mists.

Supplies:
water, acrylic paint.. any colour, spray bottles, these were recycled ones from some body mists I had finished, some perfect pearls.. these I won years ago and never used them until now.. and that is it..

I first poured some paint in the containers.. you will need to add more just in case you want a stronger colour in the end.

Then I put in a couple of scoops of perfect pearls.. I used a light green and a pink.

then add your water.. not to the top , just in case you want to add more paint.. and then place the top on and shake .. shake .. shake.. until the paint is fully mixed into the water.. then you are ready to spray.. test it out on scraps of white paper to see if you want a deeper colour.. then just add more paint.

these are the colours I made and it only took me 5 minutes.. amazing.. now I need some more misting bottles cause I want every colour.. hehe..

Here are the sprays of glimmering mists.. beautiful and they shimmer too.. love that.. so go and save your money and make your own.. from the frugal scrapper.. hehe
have to save my money so I can buy all the Unity and Ippity stamps right!!

Now if you go and check out all the participants in todays FWF.. is it all on the Unity Blog!!

Well, I don't have the pearl things but that is easily remidied. I have TONS of MM paints that I hardly TOUCH anymore. Heading to Wally World tomorrow to stock up on misters. Thanks for sharing!! (If it's this easy, why are we spending so much on brand names?)
