HAPPY HIP HOP !!

Hello Everyone.. welcome to Hip Hop Thursday
If you happen to just come here first... why don't you start
over at the
see what the Beautiful Angela has to share!

Today I am sharing a project with you all... Yes, it is repurposed. If you know me I just love to take something laying around my house and give it new life..
So Check this Beauty out!!

Dream it
Believe it

I started off with an old lime green chipboard organier.. I got this in a Tinkerbell Scrapbook kit many years ago.. I painted it black and mod podged it to seal the black paint. It is 12x12.

Using a variety of  Unity stamps with some Tim Holtz distressed Inks.

I layered alot of the Stamps from the April and May Unity KIT OF THE MONTH!!

Inking some of the photo itself.. I also layed it on these beautiful Bo Bunny Papers Gabriella collection and the Time piece collection..these were all 6x6 paper packs.. perfect for this project..

I had some deep grey embellishments and I used my brown copic markers to give it more of a copper brown finish to match the inks I was using.

All the photo's are printed out wallet size on my printer at home.. Brother5890CN... I am just in love with this new printer.. it gives you professional printed photo's.

Some papers were paperpieced and glittered. The large blue flower was embossed layered and glittered.

Most of the photo's except the black and white one was taken this weekend.. I was so happy to actually get some photo's of my son smiling and laughing.. a rare moment for me not to just get the back of his head or hand.. you know he is 15 and camera shy..hehe.
I hope you will find something in your house that has been sitting around and needing some love. Alter it and stamp your heart away... The May KOM is perfect for a wonderful family project like this one.

lots of extra discounts during the month with the coupon code that come every month when you recieve your Kit of the Month..  Isn't it just GORGEOUS!!

we also have a challenge on the Unity Blog and over at My Unity Place..
so make sure to check those out too.
