Creative Colour Combo.. CP4U

We have a great fun new challenge on the Creative Prompts 4U challenge blog !! This one is a fun one.. so go check out the colour combo challenge.

Here is what I created. Last month I was at Scrapfest and met so many wonderfully talented people. They are all so very nice and I was thrilled to meet them the 2 days I was there.. Here is a layout of the talented ladies!!

Don't you love that BG light aqua flower.. well it was a gift that I received from my friend Calia.. I just love them and had to make some of my own.. really I made a ton of them last night.. great accent for cards and layouts and oh so easy..

I just love to layer paper on paper and with this wonderful fiskars flower scallop border punch it is easy to get that pretty layered look. I also had a ton of these metal embellishments and thought what a perfect idea to use them and make a border out of them.. Using the Thrift Shop October Afternoon papers and stickers to accent.

Now it is time for you to go and play with this challenge.. CP4U always has a great Random prize given away just take the challenge and get the chance to win..

Simply Scrapping Crafts.. Oh, lots of FUN!!

Simply Scrapping Crafts.. pardon the PUN.. but that is what I have been up to.. SIMPLY SCRAPPING!!! Every Wednesday SSC has new wonderful challenges up. I am currently designing for the Diecut/Punch Group, Card Challenge Group and the Copic Group. I am not going to say too much because I have alot of cards and layouts to show you.. I will just let you come over to the SSC and check it out for yourself. I think we have a group for every thing you might want to learn or try.. lots of wonderful challenges!!

This is the Diecut/Punch Group. This is a fabulous group if you want to challenge yourself to use some of your diecuts and punches in a different way. We have a poll every month where we take your number 1 choice and do the challenges according to what you are interested in, and I get to play and learn my Cricut machine.. How much fun it that!!

This is the Copic Group.. where you will learn the best techniques for colouring your images.. Our leader Lisa has 2 video lessons each month with 2 card challenges. I just love this group because it teaches me copic skills that I would never get in any classroom environment.. and I can sit at home and learn!!







This is the Card Challenge Group.. where we have different inspiration to challenge us.. from photo inspiration, to colour combination.. layering or trying a new technique.. this is a great group for you.. you will love this one!!

I just love this October Afternoon paper from the Thrift Shop line.. beautiful colours.. One of my all time favourite paper manufacturer ever.. I think I just love collecting all the lines to just stare at them and know that they are just a touch away.. silly but so true. I was happy to here that it will be the new papers for the Spring Ippity.. talk about heavenly stamps and then heavenly papers too.. Yippee!!!!

I also wanted you to take a look at what I received in the mail last Thursday.. oh yes.. isn't this so BEAUTIFUL!! I love getting mail and I just had to order these beauties from Eryn.. she is selling these creative pieces on her Blog.. you have to go check it out!

Happy Mother's Day,Wishing my Mom, my wonderful Sisters, and my special friends, a wonderful day of love, laughter, and tons of wonderful moments!!
I will be spending the day with these sweethearts.
My son is making me dinner and my daughter.. well, she will make my day by going to my son and hubby with all her worries throughout the day!! At least that is what I am hoping..
Here are a few photo's of my precious kids.. this is what makes my Mother's Day.. without them I would just be me.. not so much fun!! Glad they are in my life.. making me do silly things and being loved every minute of every day.

Friends With Flair... all in Unity.

Okay this is a short post with lots to see. I promise I won't babble on! I just love that Unity is so into Scrapbooking and with Sketches to boot!! I wanted to do the 2 new sketches all week long and I am just now finishing them.. it is 1 AM.. see that is how much I wanted to do them for this post!!

I love how this one turned out.. My sweet Sydney at One... playing Peek-A-Boo with mommy.

The details. Using some stamps from the Favourite Things SB kit.

The flower was made using 3 different size flowers from my garden Cricut Cartidge.. I them stamped them with one of the ippity stamps and added an eyelet for the center.

Second layout.. is Sydney with her girlfriends.. playing in the sand after school.

The Details.. Using some stamps from different KOM's and that wonderful stamp in the April KOM for the half circle border around the paper.. love that!! Now look at that paper from MME.. that stamp was just made for that paper.. I am always thrilled to have papers that match Unity Stamps... I know crazy!!

Now I honestly thought this was the card challenge sketch for this week.. but I was informed it was not.. well the mind is not to sharp.. hehe.. I still love the sketch and the finished card. I so love this thread stamp.. I know I am going to get so much fun use out of it. The "you're SEW sweet".. I printed off on my computer.. I just couldn't find the perfect stamp for this one.. and I love that saying.

Now for my last project.. this was some happy mail this week.. LOVE IT!! Oh yeah.. this is the new Forever Young Cricut Cartridge.. I love love love this cartridge.. well I love them all but this one is just stunning. You get so many fun girls to create with all their beautiful dresses and pantsuits. you even get handbags.. that would make any girl go crazy with creativity.. and this Unity stamp was so perfect.. don't you think!

Sketch and a twist.. for Creative Prompts 4U

Lately I have been working on some layout sketches and for my Challenge this week over at Creative Prompts 4U , I bring you my first Sketch!! I wanted something fun and out there.. So here you have it.

Reminds me of those Batman cartoons.. Kazoom !!BOOM!! SO for my CHALLENGE this week on Creative Prompts 4 U I would like you to use this sketch and a twist of using 2 stamps with it.

Here is what I came up with.

The details..

Using one of the Ippity Stamps for the blue scalloped border I wanted to layer the green scalloped paper and add a bit of colour .

I mixed alot of paper company's, Some Sassafrass and some Cosmo Cricket.. and these delightful birds are also Ippity Stamps.. I love them in white.

All About Mom.. TGF

With Mother's Day this Sunday what better way to celebrate by doing a layout All about Mom.. This is my MOM.. my best friend , she is the one person that makes me feel loved everyday and alway supports everything I do with a positive outlook. You can't ask for a better Mom.
