Friends With Flair Friday!!

Good Morning and Thank Goodness it's Friday!! We are very excited this weekend we are getting a new Van and will be picking it up on Saturday.. WOW cup holders.. I never had that even air conditioning... we are stepping up in the world. I am still never going to drive but to know that my husband is happy makes me a very happy girl.
It has been a treat to go look at different Vans all week long. He deserves something new.. and for us this is all new to have car payments...married nearly 23 years and never a car payment.. how strange is that!!

But putting Vans aside.. it is Friends with Flair Fridays.. this week I have been looking at some of the great SCS videos on you-tube. Beate has some amazing things to take my card making to the next level. I did these both using the JOY FOLD card.. I changed it up a bit to fit a larger image but I love the look of it.

The first card using the Striped wipe background video...I used some glossy paper and Tim Holtz Alcohol inks , I followed the directions with the baby wipe and applied my ink colours.. and with my Staz-On ink I inked up the images and this is what the card turned out to look , it was so easy and I love the this technique.. I will be trying this one alot on other cards.

Now this card I did the Joy Fold technique.. quite easy and love how it opens. Great Video Tutorial Beate.. you totally rock!!

Using all my Unity Stamps.. I just love how these different cards turned out. I will be watching more of the videos and hopefully be trying out a few techniques every week .. I am so excited to learn something new.. and if you want to check out the videos they are all here lots of great things to learn.

Love... Love... Love... {Ippity} style... time to PARTY

I just love Ippity and today is the BIG DAY.. lots of new releases so make sure you head over to the {Ippity Blog} to see all the newest sets.. and find your Ippity Chick.. I usually order mine from the Ultra Talented Maria.. and my wonderful Friend Bonnie Rose but there are lots of Ippity Chicks with great deals today so you better go check them out too.
Last weeks Challenge was to make a Valentines day card.. I have already done so many of them these last couple of weeks all red or pink and decided to not use those colours for this one.. I just love the blues and this is what it turned out like... I actually did some stitching with my machine on this one too... I love how it turned out. Using the stamps from the Life's Little Moments set.

I also decided to take the same design and do a layout.. this was for the WILD CARD WEDNESDAY challenge over at Simply Scrapping Crafts.. I just love how this turned out in the green and brown..

Some Simply Scrapping with my Unity!!

Friday.. finally!! even though it went by very fast.. I am glad it is here. Friends with Flair.. you just gotta love that!! I was so happy to see all the fantastic sneak peeks yesterday of some of the new stamps.. I honestly can't wait for Monday to hurry up and come!! It is like Christmas!

Today I have a combination of Unity and Simply Scrapping...

This week over at Simply Scrapping Crafts we have lots of new fun challenge groups.. and every week we are adding more challenges just to change it up. This weeks challenge for the Technique Wednesday Group was to do a layout or card using Tissue paper flowers.and what better way to accent them by using my Unity stamps.. I love all the Unity flourish stamps.. you can find alot of them in the Growing in Unity set. here is my layout..

{Ippity} Happy Monday Hop

I decided to use the Unity Grid stamp to do the background and then using theAlphabetically Adorable stamp set.. I did my Happy Birthday Magic.. I just love these letters. and it is so much fun to colour.

Unforgettable Moments... FWF

Well first of all I must say that I just love getting Happy Mail.. any day of the week but when I got this Scrapbooking Kit in the mail yesterday I just couldn't wait to ink it up.. Unforgettable Moments.. this kit is full of great scrapbooking images that let your imagination flow out.. I just love everything in this one and those Basic Grey papers are fantastic. I didn't have to use anything other than some Brazill cardstock and some Bo Bunny letters.. everything came with the kit and lots left over to make another 4 layouts and some cards.. How wonderful it that!! It is a must buy and for the Price is it worth every penny.

Here is my layout... Lip Gloss
Lip gloss is the one girly thing that my daughter has to wear.. yes she is starting early.. I blame this on my sister Shari.. she is the head of training for Mac Cosmetics in Canada.. and Sydney got made over one night by her and that was it.. addicted to lip gloss, Everyday before school she needs to put some on.. and she has quite a collection of colours all Mac..all from her Auntie.. what a lucky 4 year old. Here her Cousin is making her up.. a sweet moment to have your big cousin putting make up on you.. I just love these girly moments.. truly unforgettable!!

Hip Hop.. Ippity Style

WOW.. Monday already.. not even sure if there was a weekend! It was so busy..I was Scrapping, cooking , partying and then Scrapping some more.. Wescrap had a fantastic on-line crop going on .. the big prize was to win a Cricut Machine. It is always so much fun to participate and I got tons done.. 9 layouts and 2 cards.. 1 altered project.. I will post them later today, so make sure you come back for another visit.
I love Mondays for this one reason.. to hop with my friends on Ippity.. if you go over to the blog you will find lots of great participants with all their projects to share. Last week the challenge was to do a card with a shape.. I have only done very square cards so this was a first for me.. and GUESS WHAT!!! I was also featured in EVA's Sunday Fav's for this one too. I was so excited.. There were lots of great shapes that I am going to try.. great inspiration..

I also did this layout, using one of the background stamp form that same set.. I just love how this turned out. You only see the image slightly but it is there.. I love that number stamp.
