Any GIven Day.. Photography

Today, or should I say just a couple of  hours ago.. Sydney and her school
did the Terry Fox RUN.. I went to the school earlier to pick her up with my camera in hand.
I wanted to capture her last run.
I was happy to see that she was not one of the first in her class sitting down waiting..
She was still on the RUN.. or should I say walk some ..run some.lol

That is her in the coral outfit.  She was partnered up with her friend Isabelle

A sweet photo of the girls at the end of their 4 laps.. good job girls!!

Here is her class waiting to get a cold drink and  freezes.. a well deserved treat !!

Oh , then I made her walk home.. bad mommy!!
But, she wanted me to take some photo's of her and the Fall trees.

and her two loose bottom teeth as well.

I just love this time of year.. the leaf foliage is just so breathtakingly beautiful.

That was a fun day of capturing some of her School moments.
I tend to walk with my camera alot to school.
I am sure some people must think I am crazy.. but I love it!!

Hope you had a great day too.

Angie

Halloween Frame !! BOO

I thought I would share a project I did  over on the Unity Blog a couple of weeks ago..

Yes, I am thinking Halloween already..
I have purchased this Michael's Frame with these Tim Holtz Halloween papers.
I altered the frame using some Mod Podge to adhere the paper to the front.

using some party black streamer tape I ruffled around the back of the frame..

Using some Halloween Ippity Stamps.. I stamped the images, distressed them and placed them on.

love how it all turned out.. love this Tim Holtz line of papers.. perfect don't ya think??

I am thinking this will be fun to hang in my hallway coming in from the outdoors.
Happy Tuesday.
hugs,
Angie

One Room at a Time..

So it all started with something I saw on Pinterest yesterday..
really.. could it be more than inspiring to get lost there.
 I think so..
So it got me wanting to change  my craft space.. and here is the result.

Scraproom September  2011

the white boxes are Melissa Frances.. when she was here in Ajax I got a ton from her warehouse..
.. glass jar Canadian Tire.. just not tires I tell you..
the box was from a craft show a couple of years ago
button jars.. recycled pickle and coffee jars..
the button are some buttons my Mom gave me..
 some 30+ years old.

Ahhh... love my Martha Punches..

So this is where I take my photo's.. easy set up..

this is what started the whole thing.. some tin containers I had..
I prettied them up with canvas and lace..
and gave them a coat of white wash .. love them...

love glass jars filled with ribbon and buttons.. really heaven for me..

Some vintage books.. some early 1900's from my cousin's used bookstore.
Thank you Andreas for supporting my habit..
the reader's digest books are amazing.. they are just the covers and inside are
mini albums.. bounded to the covers.. will share those soon.

Well there you have it.. updated.. with still some organizing, painting, and sorting to do.. but it is clean..
I can see my carpet without any bits of paper on it.. haha

So that is what I was up to today..
Taking it one room at a time..
House work is never done..

hugs,
Angie

FWF and PPC#33... lets make a tag!!

Hello Friends with Flair.. and all you wonderful people that come to my blog for a daily, weekly visit.. I so appreciate your visits and all your wonderful comments.. makes me so happy!!

I have a problem.. I a have an addiction.. it is not serious but for some reason I can't help myself..
it is tags.. I love tags.. I love making tags.. strange isn't it ??
I just can't seem to stop making them.. I love them that much..
well today I am hosting a challenge over at Scrapbooker's Paradise, PPC#33
can you guess what the challenge will be about??

Make your own tags!!  HA!!!

I decided to do some Clean and Simple ones..
Using some wonderful Simple Stories stamps from Unity.
Over at Scrapbooker's Paradise we have a ton of Unity Stamps..
and you can purchase these there.. I love them!!

check out the Scrapbooker's Paradise Blog for all the details on this challenge.

Using some white cardstock I cut these tags 5x3.5.. punched a whole at the top and cut the top sides.

Using some  Ranger distress inks from  Tim Holtz I inked up the images from Simple Stories Generations.
and the Simple Stories Explore, Discover, Escape sets.

then added some home made and diecut embellishments.

Now it is time to check out what the other's on the Team have made with this Challenge.
