Hello everyone.. just a short and sweet card for you today...

I am right now, in Las Vegas, having a blast with my brothers and sisters..

We are being spoiled like royalty.. from spa treatments, shopping,

 going to see Celine Dion... it is out of this world..

Blessed to have my wonderful brothers that paid for it all..

we are CELEBRATing.. letting the good times roll !!

I thought this would be fun to do with the kids, grandkids..

 even a fun party with your girlfriends and a bottle of wine..

 maybe after the painting part though..haha

Summer Blog Hop.. creating is FUN !!

Welcome SUMMER..

and today we over at Creating is FUN

are celebrating with a summery blog hop.

I just love all the fabulous.. and I mean FABULOUS

colours of lace Martha carries..

from red , oranges, blues, greens, yellows and those lovely neutrals.

i love them ALL......

I made this SUmmer inspired card using

a piece of yellow cardstock base for my card

and adding these colourful laces on top.

I just love the look and with the addition

of some diecut and  punched borders it was just

perfect.... true happiness like the sentiment

from Unity /Authentique stamps.

I also have this fun Unity Stamp of the week to show you..

 Using more of the pretty lace to enhance

the papers.. I just love the added texture you get..

To hold the lace down on your papers here is my tip....

 I used some Helmar 450 quick dry glue.. you just need a small dab and like magic

your lace is held on within seconds.

 It also doesn't leave a clumpy

mess and gives a clean finish to your project. ..

Authentique Color Challenge...

Happy Saturday...

We have the June Color Challenge over

at the 

Authentique Blog

 today, so make sure you head on over to see all the

inspiring projects by some of the Design Team members!!

Here is the color challenge colors for this month..

How"Fresh" and wonderful is this!!

I decided to do something FUN with my

"Fresh" paper collection  and stickers..

I had this old frame ( about 15 years old at least..)

I had taken the glass and backing out.. added some jute

and made this cute photo display.

Layering the tags with different papers and stickers..

adding some home made flowers using the papers

and some glossy accents for the water droplets..

 It gives it the sand and water look I was going for.

Using a butterfly punch from ek success I punched out this butterfly, distressed the edges and added some pale blue pearls .. it just transforms your papers to the best embellishments ever!!

I also added some paper to the large wooden clothes pins..

 it added the perfect finishing touch.

Using some Insta gram photo's I added some of the word stickers , this way you add that little bit of journaling to your project... without it being too much and all matching..which I so love!!
