I just love that Ippity did this Authentic Man set of stamps. I have such a hard time finding manly stamps so this was so perfect for all those men in my life.

Oh.. how exciting is it to say that.. talk about a dream come true.. I have been waiting for this surreal moment to be apart of the Hip Hop DT for Unity /Ippity for a long time.. it is nice that it is now Reality!!

And speaking of Dreams.. I am one of those people that dream about scrapbooking/ cardmaking.. I know strange isn't it.. but to me not really , most of my creations are from my dreams.. Today I decided to do this fun little card . It is a double door card. That is what I am calling it, I am sure someone somewhere has done one but it was a dream so mine is original. hehe.

Using some to of the new SUMMER release stamps.I came up with this for my double doors.

The Details. I started out with a piece of cardstock. 5.5 X11 and scored the 2 sides at 2and 1/8 , just flipping each of the sides and measured it this way. you are left with 2 doors to decorate anyway you want.

The inside I used this weeks Unity Hip Hop sketch HHSC20 .

Using the quote from Quote's A'La Happy, coloured in some of the quote to match the colours of the card.. and also decorated the inside doors. Hope you like it!!

Thoughts From the Past

DP- October Afternoon

The Details, I used my copic to colour in the flower image.. starting with a dark shade and taking two different lighter shades to blend it into the center. I love how your copics can created such beauty. I also took some gold beads and added it to the centers with some glossy accents, and let it dry. Stamping the checker board stamp from the Quotes A'La Happy set, I cut out the leaves.

The background it the Thoughts From the Past background stamp.. inking it in light brown and green.

The Other Side of the Swing Card

I just put a photo of Sydney and I in the framed part.. I thought it would make a nice touch to place a photo .. an added little keepsake that you can use in your home or office.. would make an extra special card to give to a loved one for Christmas.

I know it is alot of photo's but I had to show you every side of this fantastic card .. I am in love with this style. I know I will be making more of these.. Thank you Beate for such and easy to follow video.

I did this first card for Maria's Rainbow Challenge using the colours of the Rainbow.

Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue and Purple.

It sounds like lots of colours but when it is all together it looks amazing.. check it out!!

My second card, I used some of the images from That's Creepy.. oh I love this set, I know I will be using alot of these images on my layouts too. Love Halloween!! It was so awesome to find this paper in my stash that matched this stamp perfectly.. love when that happens.

Ippity Summer 2010 Sneak Peek Day #2...

How fantastic were the Sneak Peeks yesterday!!

talk about creation after creation.. it was so exciting seeing all the different things you can do using these stamps.

here are some details.. using this tree stamp I stamped the image with the blue, making sure the ink was heavy on top of the stamp and without inking it again I kept on stamping this way you have the lighter shades in the background..

I also stamped the top of this image in red and stamped the sentiment on top for something extra.. I love an added stamped area to complete the layout. Hope you all like it!!

This is a photo of the group of us that go to the cottage once a year in the summer for some R&R.. We camp out, the kids have fun at the beach... we eat .. and share some much needed friendship time.. oh we also celebrate birthdays.. makes it extra special. The very last day.. not saying I only take this one photo... that wouldn't be like me.. I usually have over 500 in a weekend.. but we take a group photo.. I love these photo's and I love scrapping our times together. These stamps were just perfect to capture the background of this photo!!

Guest Designing for Unity Opportunity ..Ippity!!

I am so thrilled to have this wonderful Opportunity to tell you all that for the next 3 months I will be Guest Designing for Ippity. I was thrilled beyond belief when I got the email.. and seeing that this is a dream come true I had to jump up for joy!!
