Hot Potato Pun... Unity Blog Hop

Wow... Thursday really flies by fast these days..

To me it is the best day of the week.. you know why??.. because,

Unity Stamp Company comes out with new Releases and great promotions for the weekend.

It is also closer to Friday.. so what's not to like..

Last week we released some cute pun stamps and I just had to ink up some images and make a card for this weeks hop.. In the release I designed 4 of the Pun images and sentiments.. here is one of them from the PUN potato, frys and beans kit..

From this kit the potatoes and the french fries are ones I designed. Fun stuff don't you think!!

Here is the cute card I made using the Potatoes.. and the "you are a HOT POTATO" sentiment.

I wanted a scene in my card image and thought that these images from the November 2010 KOM were just perfect for these couch potato lovelys..

Unity Sentiments and Project Life

Happy Thursday everyone.. hope you are all staying warm.

Anyone doing Project Life out there? I am obsessed.. I just love

the daily photo and putting it an album is exciting to me..

I have been doing Project Life for 4 years now.. still not bored

and I manage to get my albums done, eventually... haha

I wanted to share you with you how easy it is to use

some of Unity Stamp Company's sentiment on your PL cards..

From simple stamping it can change the feel of your Project Life..

here are some cards I made up for last week and this weeks Project Life spread.

I print my photo's in the instagram square style and they are about 4x4 size.. which leaves

me nice room to add a sentiment to the sides of the 4x6 card

Then on some of the already written word cards I love to add a stamped

sentiment that pertains to how I am feeling.. for reals... lol

For these coming cards I used the 6x6 Amy Tangerine papers and made

my own cards... this is her new line called "Plus One"

You can also have fun using coloured inks.. love how this pop of pink

and the hello sentiments tells you how we are greeting this day..

We also have lots of great sentiments to add to blank cards..

I am a big fan of FOOD.. who isn't right??

Then it is easy to make up some blank cards that will hold your photo

for the next time.. always nice to make a few in advance when you have time.

I just love adding my Unity images to my Project Life this year.. here are some great

ideas... using the new releases are perfect for some home made PL cards..

To The Queen Of... SPARKLE

Happy Thursday.. so glad you are here today visiting my blog...

I am getting a little jump start to making some Birthday cards.. and just love this cute

cupcake in the January 2014 KOM... and the sentiment is just perfect!! Don't you think ??

On textured cardstock I lovingly inked this image with black Momento ink.. and stamped

several of the same cupcake image, but making sure the one I wanted to colour was in the middle.

Colouring with copics and adding some white dots for added bling.. I love how it just pops

off the card. this is also a Project Life card so it can be easily taken off

and put into one of the PL 3x4 pockets as well.

The sentiment I stamped on Satin finish photo paper , I wanted it to shine differently

that a matte finish of the cardstock.. I also coloured it with copics and paper pieced it.

How awesome is this....
