Dream Big. { Inspire Me.. Itty Bitty!}

On Thursday and Friday of this week I got all messy and make these Seam Binding Ribbons. I am just addicted to this process. and the ribbons are easy to mix with your misting sprays or a mixture of craft paint and water.. easy and fast.

I also had time to make this layout for February's Inspire Me Challenge over on the Webster Page's ning Forum. It is to use your bloomers of trims.. and I was lucky enough to have some grey bloomers left in my stash. I used some to the seam binding, I made to ruffle border in two colours.

Dream Big.

Using the stamps I got in the mail last week from Unity Stamp Company.. this is one of the Itty Bitty's by Webster Pages.. Love those butterflies! The Itty Bitty is called "dream big."

The papers are Webster Pages Hollywood Vogue and WonderFALL.. love these papers and all the wonderful details that are on all of them. these are just the petite packs 6x6 and they work fabulous on a 12x12 layout.. don't you think??

I just love the delicate feel of the bloomers, the ribbon and the butterfly.. it was a fun challenge.

Hoping to do more scrapping this week.. maybe a new challenge.

I have a fun layout to share today.

Life is full of Beauty.

We had some friends over this past Monday.. and Becca and Sydney had some fun taking photo's of themselves making these cute faces.. They just love to play with our camera.

On the side of that beautiful basic grey paper I used one of the stamps from the January 2010 kit of the month "savor the journey" the sentiment and flowers are from the store May 2010 kit "Moments in Bloom".

I just love this sentiment because "life is full of beauty" it is all around us and I see most of this beauty in our children.. no matter what face they put on, it is a beautiful thing to see them silly, happy and enjoying life.

I also used my Cricut to cut out the die cut shape , some dew drops from the robin's nest and some tattered angels misting spray.

H{ippity} Hop.. February week 4 challenge.

Welcome Monday.. Happy Family Day!!

It is also H{ippity} HOP time

WOW!! February surely went by fast.. it is the last week of the February Month long challenge

IHHTC2 and it is using the twist..

I had spring on the brain so I wanted to use some yellow's for my card today.

Here is the Challenge photo.. the twist for the last week this month is to use RIBBON!!

The flower I used my Slice machine and cut out the flowers.. using the Ippity Stamp Thoughts from the Past stamp on the flower cut outs. I held them together with an eyelet. and threaded my ribbon through the flower, made a bow and I just love how it all turned out.

The ribbon is some seam binding I dyed in some yellow homemade misting spray.. I love doing this thanks to Eva for inspiring me with all the wonderful ribbon's she makes..

Speaking of Eva she I am sure has a wonderful project to share with you today.

Blom Project Life

I have a couple of week to share today..

finally remembered my disc of photo's

and got them developed. So here we go with

Blom Project Life.

I am using some photo's instead of the title cards and placing the month/day on the photo using my lable maker.

Some additional pages with journaling .

Iloving this kind of journaling album.. I am having fun with different ways to add more

photo's.. I love how it is all coming together.

Let's hope I can keep it all up.. but for now.. it is already the middle of February and it is all going great.

FWF..A Stitch in Time

Hello Everyone.. it's FRIDAY...

I love Friday's , but it all goes by so fast, not that I am complaining.. I want spring to already come I am sure lots of you do too. Especially the ones that never get the white stuff and all of a sudden it is greeting you. We have been having mild weather.. so lets hope spring is around the corner.

Lately I have been making some embellishments, inspired by all these wonderful doily images..

Bella Stamps over at Unity has some beauties Bella Doilies , my Cricut Cartridges has some wonderful ones as well ( Mother's Day Cart).. and then I wanted to make some small ones to use on my layouts.. I am hoping to make some more and soon I will have them selling in my etsy shop.. if you want to check out some of my painting for sale just look over at the side bar click on the tulips .. I had made this layout today using all these great doilies to inspire me , my siblings minus 3 , mom and dad and myself back home in Guyana.. I think it is around 1967.. my brother looks like he around 1 years old.. I am on my dad's lap.. I love these small treasures of photo's.. I don't have very many ,so these are very precious to me.. well enough of me chatting away.. I can go on forever.. here is my layout.

The Blom Project Life.

I have 2 weeks of photo's to share..

I really thought I would get out to print these off but I don't think that will be happening so my book will have to wait for the photo's.. but my journaling is all up to date , that is the hardest part of doing this Project Life so I am good with that.

Sydney is at home, sick.. but she still has enough energy to sport her new hat. cuteness x1000

Making a batch of homemade pop tarts.. Sydney rolling out the dough.. hard work.. but she did a great job.

Sydney playing with the Wrigley smile app.. haha.. this is just too funny.

January 26
Alex is home before 11 am.. German exam all done. Studying for History and hanging out with Mom the rest of the day.

Play Doh taco's.. yummy.. she is a wonderful play doh cook.

Today it was a big clean up day in my scrap space, I also signed up for Christy Tomblinson's She Art class.. I am so excited to start at the end of February and my wonderful scrappy friend Tina came over.. always so much fun chatting and not doing much crafting.. but we have a great time together.

ahh.. this is fun. playing with Daddy always is.. tonight they decided to make robots with the foam blocks.. this is some good Daddy and Daughter time.

Alex wanted to buy one of these Bonsai trees.. today he is checking the water level and watering his new plant.. let's hope he has a green thumb and not a brown one like his mother!

Both kids are home.. Alex is off school, Sydney is having a snow day.

Here they are painting some frames, having a fun time blending colours.

Feburary 1
I had such a craving for some pop tonight, I love pop shoppe and so glad the corner store carries a variety of flavours. So retro good!!

February 2

WOOHOO... Sydney got her first award today at school. Mrs. Acome called us the night before and told us.. it was a total surprise for all the kids getting the HONESTY award for January.

we are so proud of her.. and here we thought she was a trouble maker. hehe

February 3

oh sad.. to be doing my last post for the Ippity Blog. At the end of the month it will be my last time working with these fabulous ladies.. I was so lucky to have 6 months guest designing for Unity/Ippity stamps..

Today I am crocheting some fun designs for my scrapbooking and card making cards. Hoping to get them in my etsy shop to sell as well.

Today I spent a couple of hours Skyping with my wonderful far away friend Savannah O'Gwynn

she is one fabulous person, so easy to talk to and we are totally in AWE of each other so we always have something to share.. today we even ate lunch together.. she truly makes my heart happy!! I know I need to do this with alot more people.

February 6

We made these wonderful stuffed chicken bundles. stuffed with stuffing they are so delicious

the kids just love this!

Well I hope to get these photo's printed and in my book really soon.
