Sketch Art Tuesdays.. week 2

Hello and good morning..
I was so happy about last weeks response to my
This month's theme is Flowers.. cause I for one can't get enough of them.

I also have one of my talented friends joining me this week.

We are both going to show you some cards using this
weeks sketch that I drew and made it into a digital stamp.

here is my sketch.. not fine tuned but wait till you see the finished drawing.

Now this week I wanted to use my copics.. I just love all the details you get when blending your copic colours and it is also good practice for me.. still learning!!

Here is my card.. using the tulip sketch ART.. I love it!!
I know.. but you better like what you draw!!

When using digital.. I either use my photo shop illustrator, then I can make the image what ever size I want.. or I just use my photo settings and print them off in either 3.5 x5 or wallet size!!

For this design I choose the 3.5 x 5 and printed 4 of them off.. on my home ink jet printer
I have a Brother MFC-5890CN, I just love that it prints and I don't have to heat set it.

So I print one for colouring as practice.. and  then another ., for the one I want to use on my card...

Using my spellbinders die, I diecut the shape and lightly distressed the image
before colouring it up with my copics.
If you are not a colour er or paper piece person..
this image looks great just black and white. with the touch of distressed in in the background.

I wanted to use the shape of the diecut for one side of my card.. so I trimmed with my scissors the shape and really like the look it gave me.. I might be doing this one again!!
that beautiful lace on the side is from

Now once a month I will be giving away a digital image.. and today is the day for my first one..
here is the image!! I can't wait to see what you will create using this..
I made it a Birthday Wishes image.. seeing that we can not have enough Birthday cards..
I would love to see what you make .. so if you do happen to make something using this image
please link up your creations in the comments.. I would love to come and check it out..
and of course leave some love!!

Angie Blom Sketch Art Designs..
Tulip Birthday Wishes..

Now to get this image.. just right click on the image and save it to your computer
then print it off the way you like.

Now if you could please go and check out what
has done with my image today..
here is her sneak peek.. doesn't it look amazing!!

thanks for coming by and I hope you really like what I made for today..
Next week we are going to be doing some fun stuff using Nail Polish!! Yes, I said Nail Polish!!
and I will have a new image to share..  I am going to just  LOVE Tuesdays.. hope you will too!!

hugs,
Angie
